Radiography
Radiography is the taking of x-rays and using them to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient - your pet. X-rays are immensely helpful (and necessary!) when it comes to diagnosing most orthopedic problems. However, that is not the only reason that we take them at Northwest Veterinary Hospital. There any many things that an X-ray can show us, and the skeletal system is only one of them. We will use xrays to look at the abdominal organs, the heart and lungs, search for foreign bodies and tumors, find bladder stones, and even see unborn puppies and kittens. The uses for radiography don't stop there, and we are proud to have this service available for your beloved companions.
